Phase I - Villas #7, #8, #9
With the project now over 50% SOLD and only 4 plots remaining, construction momentum intensifies on Amed’s flagship luxury villa development.
The main structures of Villa #8 and Villa #7 are complete and the views from the 2nd floor are much better than anticipated. The elevation of these large 3-bedroom villas graciously towers over the Celuke Valley.
Towering over the Celuke Valley
What is evident at this stage, is that whilst the villas impose over the Valley, they merge seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
This is in part due to the towering river-stone boundary walls that we have gone to great lengths to balance functionality with aesthetics.
- Functionality – Deep retaining walls enclose each villa to double-down on the foundations. We have over-engineered the retaining walls for the long-term stability and strength of each build.
- Aesthetics – River-stone walls giving the project a natural feel to blend in harmony with the Valley’s landscape.
Swimming pool and Internal work
A luxury villa would not be complete without an inviting swimming pool in the garden. Pool tiles are being laid on Villa #7 and Villa #8.
With the outer-shell in place, internal work is underway;
- Wall plastering
- Kitchen worktops
- Sunken sofa
- Plumbing and electricity.
Villa #9 comes alive!
Villa #9 – the highest plot on the development, is also coming alive. The lower-floor foundations have been laid and the construction team are preparing the column form work for the 2nd floor supports.
The view from the ground floor of Villa #9 captures the Celuke Valley hills and ocean perfectly. We eagerly wait for the second floor to be laid to fully take in some of the best views Amed has to offer.
Phase II - Villa #6, #5
We now turn our attention on to Phase II of the development. Land preparation, retaining walls and foundational footings are in place for both Villa #6 and Villa #5.
Maintaining our commitment to merging the villas in harmony with the surrounding environment, the retaining wall foundations have been prepared and rive-stone walls are bring built.
One of our major challenges through the project has been making sure that each villa enjoys ocean views from the second floor balcony. This has demand that we maintain as much natural elevation from the land as possible.
To do this, the retaining walls (a prominent feature of the development) support the individual foundations of each villa.
The image below shows how deep the foundations go. In total these walls will be an impressive 4.5 meters tall!
