Building villas in Amed's flagship villa complex
Following on from our previous construction report that focused on the handing over of Villa #8, we continue building villas in Amed through the entire Phase I of the Vesica Villas Celuke development in Amed.
Villa #8 is at the most advanced stage of its construction as we prepare the final touches in time to hand over the Villa in June 2025.
Building continues on Phase I
Whilst we were keen to showcase the latter stages of Villa #8, there remains a lot of work to do on the other two villas that complete Phase I of the project.
The ‘heavy’ building work on Villa #9 and Villa #7 was completed in good time before the monsoon rains began. Progress on the two-storey villas continues with Villa #7 further on its development.
The images below show the stages of progress at Villa #9. What looks like a building site (excuse the pun) is a dedicated team hard at work both inside and outside of the Villa.
The internal floor tiles have been laid, and the first wall plastering coat has been applied. Outside, work on the swimming pool and pool decking continues as the Villas is visually coming to life.
Villa #7 - The final preparations begin
From the images below, you can see how Villa #7 has progressed. Internally, the team has completed the utility installations, plastering works, kitchen worktops and tiling. Focus is moving towards the ensuite bathrooms in preparation of the finer touches of paint work.
Internal road network
The image below show the three villas on Phase I of the development. The Villa nearest to the camera is Villa #7, with Villa #8 in the middle and Villa #9 at the top.
The image of the surrounding hills is difficult to capture even with today’s camera technology. The Vesica Villa Celuke development sits at the top of the valley. Only by visiting the location can the elevation and hill formation be taken in all of its glory.
Riverstone Boundary Walls
The riverstone walls are a feature of foundational stability and aesthetic pleasure. Each villa is built on elevated land to capture the surrounding views of this stunning property. In keeping with the surrounding environment, the riverstone walling is perhaps the most impressive feature of the external design.
There is a feeling of grandeur to the villas without being overpowering…. after all, there is nothing more magnificant than the tropical hills of the Celuke Valley that surround Amed’s flagship villa complex.
Building villas on Phases II & III
There is a hive of activity across all Phases of the development as the team continues building the villas on Phase II and Phase III.
Using the natural lay of the land, the Vesica Villa Celuke development is staggered from the top of the project to the bottom. We have retained the elevation and split the project into four distinct phases based on four levels of elevation:
- Phase I – Villas #9 / #8 / #7
- Phase II – Villas #6 / #5
- Phase III – Villas #4 / #3
- Phase IV – Villas #2 / #1
The images below show these changes of elevation with the Phase I villas at the height of the development.
Building villas in Amed's Celuke Valley
One year into building villas in Amed’s Celuke Valley, the team has continued to achieve the impossible as we continue to progress in the face of adversity.
Phase IV construction is already under way with land preparations and retaining walls installed. The building of Villas #1 and #2 will begin in June 2025. Our plan to complete the project by June 2026 remains a realistic focus.
